Broken Hill Mines (ASX:BHM) identified silver, zinc and lead mineralization within the Centenary Zone of its Rasp Mine in New South Wales, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
The results were up to 17.8 meters at 10.1% zinc equivalent and 280 grams per tonne silver equivalent, comprising 83 grams per tonne silver, 4% lead, 3.8% zinc and 0.1% copper from 420 meters, identified outside the mineral resource estimate and joining up the entire approximately 1,600-meter strike of the Centenary Zone, the filing added.
Further assay results are expected in the coming weeks, it added.
The company's shares rose 12% in recent Monday trade.
