Broadcom (AVGO) has signed a partnership with FuriosaAI to develop a third-generation AI inference accelerator, FuriosaAI said on Wednesday.
The companies will jointly develop a chiplet-based AI inference platform combining Furiosa's architecture with Broadcom's networking and Ethernet technologies to scale hyperscale AI compute clusters, FuriosaAI said.
Also on Wednesday, Broadcom said it has entered into a collaboration with Samsung Electronics on a next-generation 5G and Wi-Fi 8 fixed wireless access platform.
Broadcom shares were up more than 1% in recent Wednesday trading.
