Jade Biosciences (JBIO) said late Tuesday the first participant has been dosed in a first-in-human phase 1 clinical trial of JADE201, an investigational, half-life extended, afucosylated monoclonal antibody.
The first-in-human trial is a placebo-controlled study assessing single ascending doses of JADE201 in participants with rheumatoid arthritis, according to a statement.
Jade said interim phase 1 data in rheumatoid arthritis anticipated in 2027 are expected to inform indication prioritization across potential autoimmune indications supported by B cell activating factor receptor biology.
