BriaCell Therapeutics (BCT.TO) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with a Dutch microneedle company whose device is already being used in its Phase 3 study in advanced metastatic breast cancer.
The MOU aims to establish a plan for scaling up of Uneedle's microneedle devices for use in commercial quantities. This is dependent on BriaCell's lead Phase 3 clinical candidate, Bria-IMT, obtaining regulatory approval.
Bria-IMT, an immunotherapy candidate, is currently being evaluated in a Phase 3 study in advanced metastatic breast cancer. Uneedle's microneedle technology is being used to intradermally administer Bria-IMT, a statement said.
