Blue Moon Metals (MOON.V, BMM) was transferred the Water Pollution Control Permit (WPCP) and the Reclamation permit for its Springer tungsten project in Pershing County, Nevada, by the Nevada Division of Environmental Protection (NDEP), through its Bureau of Mining Regulation and Reclamation, into the company's name, it said in a statement late Thursday.
The Springer tungsten project's reclamation closure bond has also been approved and posted, it said. Blue Moon Metals is now authorized to start construction activities at Springer, including refurbishment of the existing mill and activities authorized under those permits.
Blue Moon also received formal approval of the notice of construction on Aug.18, allowing construction of the tailings dam to begin on schedule.
"With these permits in hand, we are ready to start construction and on-track for a late 2027 startup, bringing tungsten production back to the United States," said Blue Moon Metals chief executive Christian Kargl-Simard.
Shares of the company were last seen up 5.8% at C$7.33 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
