Blast Resources (BLST.CN) said Thursday said it identified a "strong" uranium/thorium anomaly at the Wales Lake Uranium Project.
The anomaly is on the eastern side of the Clearwater Domain in northern Saskatchewan's Athabasca Basin, added the company.
"The newly identified anomaly at Wales Lake represents a significant step forward in our efforts of delivering valuable results for our shareholders," said Chief Executive Officer Casey Forward. "We're confident that this anomaly will provide us with invaluable information that can be leveraged during a future work program."
The company's shares were last seen up C$0.005, or 1.2%, to C$0.41 on the Canadian Securities Exchange.
