Blackrock Silver Extends Silver and Gold to Northwest at Tonopah West in Nevada

By

Blackrock Silver's (BRC.V) north-west step out drill program extended mineralization another 600 meters to the northwest along the projection of the Denver vein system, on its Tonopah West project located in Nevada, US, it said in a statement on Wednesday.

Drillholes TXC26-192A, -199, -200 and -201 confirmed the extension, it said. The company said the Denver vein set is dilating toward a newly identified intrusive complex, creating a priority exploration target where silver and gold may be concentrated.

The company is evaluating the results received to date under the Eastern Expansion program to establish the trends of high-grade silver and gold within this fault bounded area, it said. Assays for 12 drillholes are pending and drilling is ongoing.

Shares of the company closed up 7.6% to CA$1.28 on Tuesday on the TSX Venture Exchange.
