Black Bear Minerals Prepares for Underground Drilling at Texas Project

Black Bear Minerals (ASX:BKB) said final underground operational-readiness activities were underway at the Shafter project in Texas, ahead of access to the existing mine decline and the start of underground drilling, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.

Drill planning is underway, with the initial drilling expected to focus on areas around previously operated stopes. It is completing the remaining safety and operational requirements for underground access.

Its shares fell 2% in recent trading on Tuesday.
