Black Bear Minerals (ASX:BKB) identified silver mineralization during recent drilling at its Shafter Project in Texas, according to a Friday Australian bourse filing.
The results were up to 9.1 meters at 1,043 grams per tonne (g/t) silver from 116.4 meters, including 0.6 meters at 2,990 g/t silver on re-assay, up 133% in silver grade for the internal interval and up 30% in contained silver for the broader intercept compared with the historical intercept.
With twin-hole drilling and historic core re-analysis returning higher contained silver and polymetallic mineralization, the historic core review has been extended to all available legacy drill programs, it added.
