BioSyent (RX.V) said Tuesday that Health Canada has approved Thyconvi (levothyroxine sodium), the first levothyroxine oral solution available in Canada targeted at hypothyroidism and thyroid stimulating hormone suppression.
Rene Goehrum, BioSyent chief executive, said Thyconvi, which is an oral liquid dosage containing 20 micrograms of levothyroxine sodium per millilitre, will be launched in the coming months.
Biosyent shares were last seen down $0.04, to $14.40, on the TSX Venture Exchange.
