BioRem (BRM.V) said Tuesday its second quarter earnings advanced to C$0.11 per share, from C$0.04, in the prior year period.
The company, which manufactures high-efficiency air emissions-control systems, said revenue jumped 66% to C$2 million over the same period.
BioRem recorded C$14.8 million new order bookings in the quarter, maintaining the order backlog atC$75.5 million on June 30.
"It was a very strong first half of the year for BIOREM", said chief executive Derek Webb. "Project execution has exceeded expectations, and we were able to successfully manage the challenges posed by tariffs, inflationary pressures, geopolitical issues and supply chain issues. We have been able to maintain or improve our margins and many projects are ahead of schedule."
The company's shares closed up C$0.01 to C$3.03 Monday on the TSX Venture Exchange.
