BetterLife Pharma (BETR.CN) late Friday said it filed a final short form prospectus with securities regulators in British Columbia, Ontario and Alberta, in connection with a $100-million offering of shares and prefunded warrants announced last month.
The company is offering of up to 555-million shares priced at CA$0.25 or CA$0.24999 per warrant for up to $100 million, with each warrant entitling the holder to buy a share. The offering must have a minimum raise of $80 million, the company said.
BetterLife also granted the agents a 15% over-allotment option. .
Proceeds will be used to conduct clinical trials, to initiate a post-Phase 2 registration study for cluster headache, and for working capital and other general corporate needs.
Shares of the company were last seen up 5.9% to CA$0.36 on the Canadian Securities Exchange.
