Befar Group Flags No Reason for Unusual Share Price Movement; Shares Up 5%

By

Befar Group (SHA:601678, HKG:6745) said its business operations remain normal and it is unaware of any reason for the recent unusual movements in its share price and trading volume, according to a Friday Hong Kong bourse filing.

The company also began producing 6N-grade electronic-grade high-purity hydrogen fluoride gas after completing a 50-tonne-per-year filling line and securing regulatory approvals.

Befar said it has started marketing the product to domestic and overseas customers, although customer acceptance remains uncertain.

It expects sales of the product to account for only a small portion of revenue and not have a material impact on its 2026 financial performance.

Shares of the firm were up nearly 5% in Monday late-afternoon trade.
