BayCurrent's (TYO:6532) profit attributable to owners of the parent rose 19% to 10.7 billion yen for the fiscal first quarter from 9.02 billion yen a year earlier.
The management consulting company's basic earnings per share increased to 70.99 yen from 59.32 yen a year ago, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Wednesday.
Net sales jumped 30% to 44.6 billion yen in the three months ended May 31 from 34.3 billion yen in the prior year.
For the fiscal year ending Feb. 28, 2027, the company expects attributable profit of 48.1 billion yen, basic EPS of 323.79 yen, and net sales of 190 billion yen.
The company plans to pay interim and year-end dividends of 65 yen per share each for the fiscal year, which is higher than the amounts paid in the prior fiscal year.
Shares of BayCurrent fell nearly 7% at market close.
