Bank of Shanghai (SHA:601229) raised 25 billion yuan via the issue of three-year bonds, according to a weekend filing with the Shanghai bourse.
The financial bonds, with a coupon rate of 1.57%, raised 20 billion yuan. Proceeds are earmarked for asset-liability allocation needs, replenishing funding, optimizing the liability maturity structure and promoting business development.
The green financial bonds carrying a 1.50% coupon raised 5 billion yuan, with proceeds to go toward green industry projects.
