Australia's total private sector credit recorded an 0.8% month-on-month increase and 8.5% year-on-year rise in seasonally adjusted terms in June, according to Reserve Bank figures released on Friday.
Housing credit was up 0.6% month on month and 7.5% year on year, while personal credit delivered a 0.8% month-on-month increase and 4.7% year-on-year rise.
Meanwhile, lending to non-financial businesses grew 1.1% month on month and about 11% year on year.
