Australia's total credit rose 0.7% month over month in May, following a 0.7% increase in April, data from the Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) showed on Tuesday.
Housing credit rose 0.5% after edging 0.6% higher the previous month, while personal credit inched up 0.6%, following a 0.2% increase.
Business credit advanced 1% after a 0.7% increase recorded in the previous month.
Broad money climbed 0.3%, following a 0.8% growth in the previous month.
Total credit jumped 8.2% in the year ended May, compared with the 6.9% increase in the year ended May 2025.
