Aurora Spine Q2 Net Loss Widens

By

Aurora Spine (ASG.V) reported a second-quarter net loss of $0.01 per share, compared with breakeven per share, a year ago.

Net loss was $834,763 in the quarter, compared with net loss of $198,760, in the prior-year period.

Revenue decreased to $3.7 million in the quarter ended June 30, 2026, compared with $4.5 million, a year ago. The fall in revenue was due to decreased activity in the pain market, due to lower sales of SI joint products, it said.

"The second-quarter results were disappointing, reflecting the transition and retooling of our internal sales team, and broader awareness of our now-settled dispute with the underlying patent holder for SiLO TFX and increased competition," said Aurora Spine Chief Executive Officer Trent Northcutt. "As we indicated following the first quarter, we expected the second quarter to be softer as we worked through this transition however the resultant drop in sales was larger than anticipated."

Aurora Spine is based in Carlsbad, California, and designs and manufactures spinal implants and pain management technologies.

Shares of the company were last seen down 17% at C$0.17 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
