Aurania Resources (ARU.V) on Monday said will raise up to $1.5 million in a private placement of share units.
The company will place up to 8.3-million units priced at $0.18 apiece and made up of a share and a two-year warrant to buy a share for $0.35.
The company has reserved the right to increase the size of the offering by up to 25%, raising up to an additional $375,000.
Proceeds will be primarily used for exploration at the Thor's Valley epithermal gold project in Iceland, the Balangero nickel-cobalt tailings retreatment project in Italy, and for general working capital needs.
Shares of the company were last seen unchanged at $0.205 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
