-- ATCO (ACO.X.TO) on Wednesday said its first-quarter adjusted earnings rose 3.1%.
The utility and manufacturing company said its adjusted profit, excluding most one-time items, rose to $165 million, or $1.47 per share, from $160 million, or $1.43.
The company did not disclose revenue for the quarter. It also did not discuss details of its first-quarter earnings.
The company's non-voting shares closed up $0.46 to $68.54 Tuesday on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
