AstraZeneca Pharma India Gets Board Nod to Surrender Manufacturing License for Cancellation

AstraZeneca Pharma India (NSE:ASTRAZEN, BOM:506820) has received board approval to surrender its factory license to the Department of Factories, Boilers, Industrial Safety and Health, India, for cancellation, according to a Wednesday filing to the Indian stock exchanges.

The license is valid from Dec. 14, 2023, to Dec. 31.

The move follows the pharmaceutical company's earlier disclosures about exiting its manufacturing site and surrendering its manufacturing license.

Thakral's Q1 Profit More Than Doubles; Shares Up 3%

Thakral's (SGX:AWI) attributable profit to equity holders jumped 109% to SG$3.3 million in the first quarter from SG$1.6 million a year earlier, according to a Wednesday bourse filing.Shares of the property developer were up over 3% in Thursday trading.Revenue climbed 44% year over year to SG$109.5 million from SG$76 million, the filing showed.

China Overseas Property Renews Financial Services Deal With Group Finance Unit

China Overseas Property (HKG:2669) entered into a three-year financial services master agreement with China State Construction Finance, according to a Wednesday Hong Kong bourse filing.Under the agreement, China State Construction Finance will provide deposit, loan, and other financial services to the property management company on a non-exclusive basis through June 2029.The company set a maximum daily deposit balance of 100 million yuan, including accrued interest.Both companies are ultimately controlled by China State Construction Engineering (SHA:601668), making the arrangement a continuing connected transaction, the filing said.Shares of China Overseas were down over 1% in Thursday morning trade.
