Astral Resources (ASX:AAR) identified high-grade gold mineralization from three diamond drill holes completed as part of the drilling program at the Theia deposit within its Mandilla Gold Project in Western Australia, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
The results were up to 52.75 meters at 4.67 grams per tonne gold from 445.25 meters, including 0.35 meters at 47.2 grams per tonne gold from 445.25 meters.
Thirteen holes have now been completed, with the program further increased from the original six holes for 3,000 meters to 21 holes for 11,000 meters, the filing added.
The company's shares rose almost 7% in recent Monday trade.
