Asara Resources (ASX:AS1) identified high-grade gold mineralization during recent drilling at its Massan Deposit within its Kada Gold Project in Guinea, West Africa, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
The results were up to 47 meters at 8 grams per tonne (g/t) gold, including 8 meters at 42.2 g/t gold, and 66 meters at 0.7 g/t gold, including 3 meters at 3.8 g/t gold, the filing added.
The results confirm the continuation of significant gold mineralization into the southern extension of the Massan Deposit and further demonstrate the strong upside potential of the previously under-drilled area, the filing added.
The company's shares rose almost 5% in recent Wednesday trade.
