Asante Gold (ASE.V) on Tuesday said it appointed Campbell Baird, as its acting chief executive.
Baird is a mining executive with more than 30 years of international experience. His appointment follows the retirement of Dave Anthony as chief executive on March 11.
The company had appointed Baird as its chief operating officer on March 11 as well.
Shares of the company were last seen down $0.045 to $1.02 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
