Aritzia (ATZ.TO) on Thursday reported fiscal Q1 adjusted earnings of C$0.96 per share, up from C$0.49 per share, a year ago on a 43% rise in sales.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected C$0.88.
The clothing retailer's revenue for the quarter ended May 31 rose to C$951 million, up from C$663.3 million a year earlier.
Analysts expected revenue of C$921.9 million.
For fiscal Q2, the company expects net revenue in the range of C$1.1 billion to C$1.125 billion, and for fiscal 2027, it projects net revenue in the range of C$4.55 billion to C$4.75 billion.
Aritzia shares closed up C$3.90, or 2.7%, to C$148.98 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
