Appia Rare Earths & Uranium Mobilizes for 3,300-Meter Summer Drill Program at Alces Lake Rare Earth Elements Property

Appia Rare Earths & Uranium (API.CN) started mobilization for its about 3,300-metre, 9-hole diamond drill program at its 100%-owned Alces Lake Rare Earth Elements (REE) Property in northern Saskatchewan on May 29, it said on Thursday.

Geologists, drilling crews and support personnel are expected to mobilize following completion of camp setup and site preparations, which are anticipated to be finalized within about one week.

"This drill program is designed to test high-priority REE targets at depth that exhibit strong geophysical similarities to the known WRCB and Magnet Ridge mineralized zones," said Appia Chief Executive Tom Drivas. "With camp mobilization now underway, we look forward to advancing the project and commencing drilling on these compelling targets."

Shares of the company were last seen unchanged at $0.19 on the Canadian Securities Exchange.

Update: BHP Signs Rail Transportation Agreements With Canadian National Railway and Canadian Pacific Kansas City

(Updates With BHP Canada news and share movement of CNR)BHP Canada, unit of BHP, signed transportation agreements with Canadian National Railway (CNR.TO, CNI) and Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CP.TO, CP), to support the movement of potash from Jansen to Westshore Terminals in Vancouver, where it will be exported to global markets, it said on Thursday.Under the agreements, both the rail carriers will operate unit trains between Jansen and Westshore Terminals. The initial term of the contracts is about four years, supporting Jansen Stage 1 production, with future arrangements to be aligned with the next phase of the project, it said.This comes after Canadian National Railway said its propane export shipments from South Beamer, Alberta to Watson Island, British Columbia reached an "all-time monthly record for the corridor in May, while staying within the existing commercial arrangements."Canadian National Railway noted this represents an increase in carloads of 40% compared to May 2025 and beats its previous monthly record from August 2024. Trans Canada Gold Nears Completion of Newly Installed Underground Electrical Facilities, and Drill Pad Set-ups; Prepares for Drilling at the Harrison Lake District Scale Gold Project

Trans Canada Gold (TTG.V) is nearing completion and installation of updated electrical underground facilities, underground drill pad set-ups, and is preparing for Phase 1- Diamond Drilling program at the Harrison Lake Gold Project, the company said on Thursday.Contractors are nearing completion of underground drill setups, upgrading underground electrical facilities, road access improvements and completing an upgraded all weather core shack/core sawing facility, said the company."An experienced drill contractor has been selected and drills have been mobilized to carry out the continuous underground drill program, and will be announced shortly," stated the company.The Harrison Lake Gold Project is demonstrating the same geological characteristics as the Snowline Gold deposit situated in the Tintina Gold Belt in the Yukon, it said.The company has identified targets for further Exploration of 2 to 10 million tonnes of gold mineralized material grading between 1.0 to 5.0 grams per tonne (g/t) gold."This Target for further Exploration target is based on the current geological understating and historical drilling and identified mineralization, over several widely spaced intrusions over more than 2 kilometers of strike-length and over a combined vertical elevation range of more than 700 meters," the company stated.Harrison Lake district Scale Gold Project is located in an "advanced gold exploration and development setting", which is fully permitted for targeting identified and known gold zones, in the expectation of increasing its gold resource, added the company."We are nearing final completion and preparing for Phase 1- Drilling at Harrison Lake unlocking the significant gold potential for the expansion on the district scale Harrison Lake Gold Project," said Tim Coupland, President and Chief Executive Officer.
