Aoyama Trading's (TYO:8219) all-store sales rose 0.3% in August from a year earlier, according to a Monday filing with the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
The Japanese retailer's existing store sales added 0.4% over the period, despite the number of customers falling 1.6% at existing stores, while average spending per customer increased 2%.
The company's stores declined to 672 from 673 in July.
Shares of Aoyama Trading fell over 1% in recent trade.
