-- ANZ Group Holdings (ASX:ANZ, NZE:ANZ) confirmed that it will redeem its $1 billion 6.75% fixed-rate resetting perpetual subordinated contingent convertible securities, issued through its London branch, on June 15, according to Thursday filings with the New Zealand bourse.
The redemption has received approval from the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority, per the filing.
The bank clarified that this redemption does not imply any plans for future redemptions of its other callable capital instruments, which would also depend on regulatory approval.
