ANZ Group Holdings (ASX:ANZ, NZE:ANZ) is transitioning Suncorp Bank customers to its own banking systems, services, and digital platforms in a process that is expected to complete by June 2027, according to a Monday statement.
ANZ completed its acquisition of Suncorp in July 2024 and is now bringing the two banks together under the ANZ brand.
The company said there will be no net job losses for Suncorp Bank employees in Australia as a direct result of the acquisition for three years. It will also maintain ANZ and Suncorp Bank's regional branch numbers throughout Australia for three years post-acquisition.
Suncorp Bank has started informing customers about the transition, ANZ said.
ANZ Group's New Zealand shares shed about 1% in recent Monday trade.
