Americas Gold and Silver (USA.TO) reported high-grade drill results from its drilling program at the Galena complex in Idaho.
The results represent significant upside potential to the project's future mine plan, as they were not part of a mineral resource and reserve statement released in 2025, the mining company said Friday.
Results include a new vein discovery at the Galena mine grading 1,062 grams per tonne (g/t) silver and 0.7% copper over 1.3 meters. Drilling at the Crescent mine also returned 1,891 g/t silver and 0.3% copper over 1.3 meters, and 1,560 g/t silver and 0.3% copper over 1.1 meters.
"The new drilling results at the Galena complex continue to reaffirm our belief that we control one of the highest-grade, primary silver deposits not only in the historic Silver Valley but worldwide," Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Paul Andre Huet said.
