Amer Sports' (AS) investor day reinforced the thesis that its Salomon brand's "technical authenticity, sportstyle momentum, and category expansion" will lead to a path of at least mid-teens percentage sales growth, UBS Securities said in a note Friday.
The investment firm said that Salomon, along with Amer's "disciplined investments" in Arc'teryx and Wilson Tennis 360, should support the company's growth momentum throughout its five-year plan and beyond.
Analysts said Amer is still "one of the best growth stocks in Softlines" and the stock will likely outperform backed by stronger-than-expected growth over the next 12 months.
The firm said it sees upside to Amer's long-term earnings per share guidance, citing the company's multiyear investments across its brands and management's inclination to issue beatable guidance.
UBS Securities maintained its buy rating on Amer and $62 price target.
