Amazon (AMZN) Teamsters launched a one-day unfair labor practice strike Wednesday at the company's largest US warehouse facility in Riverside, California, the union said in a release.
"Members of Teamsters Local 1932 were forced into a work stoppage to protest Amazon's illegal conduct and retaliation against workers advocating for safer working conditions," the Teamsters said.
Amazon didn't immediately reply to a request for comment from.

American Healthcare REIT (AHR) completed the acquisitions of six Kensington Senior Living communities comprising 464 units for $572 million.Two additional communities are subject to definitive purchase agreements and are expected to close in Q4, subject to conditions, American Healthcare said Tuesday in a statement.The full eight-community portfolio has 745 units with an aggregate contract purchase price of $873 million, the company said. Kensington will continue operating the communities after the closings.The transaction establishes a long-term strategic partnership, American Healthcare said.American Healthcare shares rose 3.6% in after-hours trading.

Honeywell Aerospace (HONA) has agreed to pay over $2 million to settle allegations that it failed to comply with cybersecurity requirements in a US Department of Defense contract, the US Department of Justice said Tuesday.The settlement resolves allegations that, from April 2020 through Dec. 2023, a unit of Honeywell International (HON) submitted false claims for payment after failing to meet cybersecurity requirements for one of Honeywell's networks.Honeywell Aerospace became a standalone company on June 29 after separating from Honeywell International.Shares of Honeywell Aerospace were down 2.4% in late afternoon trading.Price: $154.42, Change: $-3.69, Percent Change: -2.33%
