Amapa Minerals (AMAP.TO) on Thursday said it closed its initial public offering and its shares are now trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
The company raised C$140 million from the IPO of 127.3-million shares priced at at C$1.10 each. An over-allotment option for a further 19.1-million shares can be exercised by underwriters for 30 days.
Amapa Minerals' principal asset is the past-producing Amapa Gold Project in Northern Brazil.
Amapa shares, which hit a higher if C$1.13 mid-morning, were last seen down C$0.04 to C$1.10.
