Alumis (ALMS) reported a Q2 net loss Thursday of $142.2 million, compared with net income of $59.3 million a year earlier.
Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected a loss of $117.9 million.
Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was $1.7 million, down from $2.7 million a year ago. Analysts expected $3.2 million.
As of June 30, the company had cash, cash equivalents and marketable securities of $502.3 million, which it said is sufficient to fund operating expenses and capital expenditure requirements through Q4 2027.
Shares of Alumis were up more than 3% premarket Friday.
