Altrova Health Appoints Tony Clement as Chairman; Raf Souccar Steps Down

Altrova Health (ROVA.CN) has appointed Tony Clement to serve as chairman, as Raf Souccar has resigned as chairman and as a member of its board of directors, it said Thursday.

Souccar will continue in Altrova Health in an advisory capacity, it said.

Clement, who has served as a member of the board, is a former Canadian federal cabinet minister who served as Minister of Health, Minister of Industry, and President of the Treasury Board under Prime Minister Stephen Harper, said the company. He has also served as Ontario's Minister of Health and Long-Term Care under Premiers Mike Harris and Ernie Eves, added Altrova.

The Project will generate billions of dollars in government revenue, deliver hundreds of jobs and careers in the local region, provide significant contracting opportunities for regional and Indigenous businesses, support regional infrastructure and services, and add billions of dollars to the gross domestic product at a critical time for the Ontario and Canadian economy," Wilton said.

International Battery Metals Appoints Grant Thornton as Auditor

International Battery Metals (IBAT.V) after the close on Tuesday announced that it has changed its auditor from CBIZ CPAs P.C. to Grant Thornton LLP.The former auditor was dismissed effective June 24 and the company's board has appointed the successor auditor on the same day to hold office until the next annual meeting of shareholders.
