Almadex Minerals (DEX.V) started drilling on its King project in south-central Colorado, it said on Tuesday.
This first pass program at the King project, which covers an area of "intense" porphyry lithocap and high sulphidation alteration developed in volcanic rocks, will start with an initial hole designed to orient and allow better planning for possible additional drilling to be carried out, it said.
Shares of the company closed up C$0.02, or 4.7%, to C$0.445 Monday on the TSX Venture Exchange.
