Aker BP (AKRBP.OL) said Wednesday its Skarv satellite project in the Norwegian Sea has started production one year ahead of the original schedule.
The project comprises the Alve Nord, Idun Nord, and Ørn fields, each consisting of a subsea template and two wells tied back to the Skarv floating production, storage, and offloading vessel.
The project represents 120 million barrels of oil equivalent of recoverable resources, the oil and gas company noted.
