Revenue in the three months ended April 30 rose to $1.84 billion from $1.67 billion a year earlier.

Agilent expects Q3 adjusted EPS of $1.48 to $1.50 on revenue of $1.83 billion to $1.85 billion. Analysts project EPS of $1.50 on revenue of $1.83 billion.
The company boosted full-year guidance to adjusted EPS of $6 to $6.10 on revenue of $7.39 billion to $7.49 billion. The prior forecast was EPS of $5.90 to $6.04 on revenue of $7.3 billion to $7.5 billion.
Analysts expect EPS of $5.97 on revenue of $7.39 billion.
Agilent shares rose 6.7% in after-hours trading.
