Afentra Secures 35% Operated Interest in Onshore Angola Block

Afentra (AET.L) said Wednesday it was awarded a 35% operated interest in the KON4 onshore block in Angola.

The interest was awarded to Afentra, alongside its local partners, Grupo Simples Oil, Sonangol E&P, Brite's Oil and Gas and Sodedurs.

The Africa-focused upstream oil and gas company expects to formally sign the contract at a later date.
