Aecon Group (ARE.TO) Chairman John Beck will not stand for re-election to the board of directors at the company's June 1 annual meeting, it said Friday.
Scott Thon, Aecon's lead director, will step into the role of independent chair of the board, assuming his re-election to the board, the company said.
Aecon's board will designate Beck as chairman emeritus, the company said.
