Advertised salaries in Australia recorded a 0.4% month-on-month increase in July, returning to the pace recorded between January and April after sluggish growth in recent months, according to the SEEK Advertised Salary Index released on Wednesday.
Annual advertised salary growth was at 4.4% year-over-year, its fastest pace since February 2024. The education and training sector recorded the fastest annual advertised salary growth at 6.4%.
Tasmania showed the annual advertised salary growth of 5.6% and quarterly growth of 1.5%, the strongest in the country. New South Wales experienced the slowest advertised salary growth at 4.3% on an annual basis.
