Aduro Clean Technologies (ACT.TO) on Wednesday said it appointed Jan Lemmens to lead the development of its First-of-a-Kind (FOAK) industrial facility at the Chemelot Industrial Park in the Netherlands.
Lemmens, who has held senior operating and engineering leadership roles across the Netherlands and Europe, will lead project development, engineering, and construction activities for the facility.
The facility is designed to deploy hydrochemolytic technology (HCT) for the chemical recycling of waste plastics with an initial capacity of 10,000 tonnes per year. The site, which is scalable, provides a modular pathway to establish industrial-scale operating experience while preserving capacity for future growth, Aduro said.
Aduro shares were last seen down $0.35 to $22.65 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
