The Asian Development Bank kept its economic growth estimate for Malaysia unchanged for 2026, but lifted its inflation forecast.
In its Asian Development Outlook update published late Wednesday, the ADB expects the country's economy to grow 4.6% in 2026, sticking to its April estimate.
For 2027, the real GDP growth estimate was also unchanged at 4.5%.
The ADB expects inflation in Malaysia to rise to 2.0% in 2026 from 1.4% in 2025, higher than the 1.8% April projection.
