-- The vast majority of Canadians, or 82%, still think the boycott of United States goods and travel to that country helps strengthen Canada's bargaining position, finds a new survey released on Friday.
The survey by Nanos Research for CTV News finds that 53% belive the boycott is "helpful," while for 29% it's "somewhat helpful" and 11% think it is "not helpful." The results are very similar to a survey carried out in October 2025.
The Nanos Research survey of 1,003 Canadians was carried out between Sunday and Wednesday, with a margin of error of more or less 3.1 percentage points.
