-- US weekly ethanol production rose slightly, according to the US Energy Information Administration report on Wednesday.
For the week ending May 1, US ethanol production averaged 1.02 million barrels per day, above 1 mmb/d last week and nearly unchanged from 1.02 mmb/d a year ago.
The four-week average output at 1.05 mmb/d was above 1.03 mmb/d during the same time last year.
