-- Tempus AI (TEM) and the Keck School of Medicine of USC said Thursday they established a collaboration to advance artificial intelligence applications in healthcare delivery and clinical research.
The arrangement targets operational upgrades for more than 1.5 million annual patient appointments throughout the university's Southern California medical network, the companies said.
The health system will incorporate advanced molecular analysis into standard clinical procedures to facilitate personalized treatment plans, they said.
This will allow automated screening systems to match eligible individuals with experimental therapies alongside software designed to identify patient management deficiencies, the companies added.
Shares of the company were down over 5% in Thursday trading.
