Shares gained about 3% in Friday's afternoon trade.
The deal, awarded by Malakoff's (KLSE:MALAKOF) unit Malakoff Silver Solar, covers development of a 470 megawatt alternating current solar photovoltaic plant under Malaysia's LSS5+ program in Perak, Malaysia.
The plant is scheduled to become commercially operational by Feb. 29, 2028, the filing said.
