RailTel Corporation Bags Order Worth INR138 Million for Supply of Computers

-- RailTel Corporation of India (NSE:RAILTEL, BOM:543265) has secured an order worth 138.4 million Indian rupees from the Directorate of Education, India, according to a Thursday filing to the Indian stock exchanges.

The contract is for the setup of computer labs and the supply of laptops in government schools in Delhi, India, under the Directorate of Education, Government of NCT of Delhi.

The project entails the supply, installation, commissioning, and comprehensive maintenance services for a period of five years for the equipment. It is scheduled for completion by April 29, 2031.

The company's shares were down nearly 2% in recent trade in a weak broad market.
