-- Pecoy Copper (PCU.V) said Wednesday it has completed a large-scale magnetotelluric geophysical survey at the Pecoy copper-gold-molybdenum-silver project in Peru.
The survey was designed to "optimize and prioritize high-potential expansion targets beneath cover and at depths exceeding 2,000 meters across the Pecoy system", the company added.
Pecoy expects the survey to increase the precision of upcoming step-out drilling and potentially define further high-grade mineralization.
"By integrating the results with our ongoing drill program and geological reinterpretation, we aim to define concealed targets, prioritize follow-up drilling, and continue to unlock the district-scale potential of Pecoy," President and Chief Executive Officer Vincent Metcalfe said.
