-- PC Gold (ASX:PC2) intersected high-grade gold mineralization during a recent drilling at the Main Zone South deposit of its Spring Hill gold project in Australia's Northern Territory, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
The results were of up to 10 meters at 4.51 grams per tonne grade of gold from 161 meters, 11.5 meters at 1.12g/t gold from 227.5 meters, and four meters at 2.3g/t gold from 245 meters.
The company said high-grade mineralization continues to extend beyond the current resource in the Main Zone, with mineralization intersected within the existing pit optimization shell in areas previously classified as waste material in the pit wall.
The company added that a third rig has been mobilized to increase drilling capacity within the mineral resource estimate area and recent discoveries, with an RC rig due in mid to late May and a bulk fuel supply secured, it added.
The company's shares fell 4% in recent Monday trade.
